CO2 tank on/off valve

Nothing. It’s just more expensive. I’d prefer a good on/off asa and haven’t purchased any more of these. I have one I got on eBay years ago and a SP co2 tank valve I got in a bundle. I’ve moved to air for my daily drivers. Co2 is for woodsball loaners now.

So what's wrong with like a cp asa If you want something that bleeds?

I will say the main reason I liked the old SP on/offs for CO2 is that there's no pin valve to go bad. It's easily rebuildable and thus better in the long term. The actual on/off and lack of bleed function was secondary. But that's just me, IDK if others chose them because of that.Leave a comment:

I have one. It works well but the knob is big like others have mentioned. You still have to shoot out the line pressure because it doesn’t bleed after being closed off.Leave a comment:

It's a modern Thermo-valve. This doesn't solve the CO2 tank problem (having to shoot out the CO2 after disengaging the pin) anymore than the early SP On/Off ASA. What folks (incl. CO2 users) would benefit from is a low cost ASA that bleeds.

That is a chonk knob, which is good. Is it quarter turn? Because that's what was nice about the old SP ones.
But tbh i've only ever tried the SP one, as it came installed on the only co2 tank i ever owned.Leave a comment:

That actually looks sweet for the few people who still use co2. Iw is cheaper than trying to put an on/off asa on everything. I have the problem on my trilogys where I pus an on/off on all of them and it gets expensiveLeave a comment:

Anyone ever tried these?

I know a lot of you guys are partial to the sp on/offs from back in the day but I'm curious if there's a decent more modern alternative
