Terrible guns that are fun to use

Full-auto SMG-68. You need to feed it liquid CO2, it's hilariously inaccurate, it's got a stupid combination of tiny magazine capacity and high rate of fire, it shoots valuable clips out the side at high velocity so you're always distracted by chasing them down during a firefight, the hammer slamming around probably weighs more than an emek, and you're constantly keeping an eye out for the magazine getting bent out of shape and stopping function completely.
Despite those things, it's...just the best.

I wouldn't say they're terrible, but my ProCarbine and my A5 are a bit of a challenge to use. The ProCarb has a very nice Dye stainless barrel, so is decently accurate, but the trigger is just god awful heavy and crunchy compared to the later 98 and A5. That being said, it's light compared to some of my mags, and it points very well. I just wish it had a trigger setup like my A5. My A5 is setup as a quasi pistol with a 50rd Tac Cap, Benchmark expansion chamber with asa port so I can run a 3.5 Co2 tank under the marker. The trigger is actually quite good on it. It's very fun, but a bit of a handicap to use. That was the point though!

My Factory F/A... 140 round hopper meant you ran out of paint fast, and you had to wind the hopper every so often or when you ran your hopper empty so it would feed, but you couldn't wind it too much or you'd break the clockspring. Using CO2 meant you'd fill it with liquid once in a while and puke snow out the barrel and cocking slot until it cleared out, too.
Full-auto put a big smile on your face, though... and with the BOA barrel it felt like I could put the paint wherever I wanted.
I miss that thing.

Maybe it's because my first gun was a Stingray, but I consider myself something of a connoisseur when it comes to jank.
I've gone out of my way to collect a bunch of stuff that is interesting but objectively awful, mostly because I tend to play at the same fields over and over and have been trying to find ways to keep things interesting to me, and sporting when playing against renters.
To that end, I have discovered and documented that there's a whole galaxy of different jank out there.
There are things that are dated but reliable, like Splatmasters...
...super intimidating to look at, but incredibly limited in capacity...
....things that are both limited in capacity and range, but also terribly unreliable due to poor ammunition choice...
... pitifully limited in usability altogether...
...and ultimately one might find oneself using a paintball gun that is not in fact a paintball gun at all.

Stingray. I love back bottle setups & the grip is very comfortable to me. Also, the composite body & frame are virtually indestructible. They’re also pretty loud & that trigger.....oh man that trigger. A blister on your trigger finger at the end of the day was pretty much guaranteed. Fun guns though.

T68 firestorm Pistol. There is just something about a STBB pistol setup to shoot on 12 grams with a 10 round spring loaded tube fireing in 3 round burst/full auto that is entertaining. I dont like constantly feeding it 12 grams and paint from tubes every 10 seconds so it has a reverse mounted asa and warpfeed (and shortened apex barrel) installed on it now. Its a cinderblock when fully loaded but its a fully automatic cinderblock that shoots around corners so it puts a smile on my face whenever I use it.

I love playing with my stingray... but I’ve never had an issue with it.
But not easy to play with and a boat load of fun? Original Nelspot. No not a 007. An Oiler. No pump grip, no ball stop in the feed tube, stock internals, no cup seal pierce pin, and the original leather holster. My best and favorite shots and games have been with only my oiler Nelspot in my hand!
I have a lot of fond memories playing with autocockers and Angel LCDs. Some are shattered by ooey gooey barrels due to my terrible rhythm on electro triggers.
