Played with the N1 tonight. Held its own with the emeks and electros. Ran into one issue however, 2 out of the 3 screws that hold the barrel spring shroud on came out during play. Not good. I'm just glad I noticed it before I lost the 3rd one.

William the third. They could be using 243 rather than 242, but I thought the only difference was oil resistance honestly, though I have heard 243 doesn't require primer. I have seen even 243 lack adhesion on zinc plated hardware to the point it wipes clean as its threaded into an anodized plate though.

Good chance the Loctite they are using is 248 given in the N1 assembly video he is using Loctite in a stick format verses liquid Loctite. 248 is a medium strength and does not require priming and is tolerant of minor contamination. My guess it just was missed to not enough applied.

Update from the Facebook group:
Alright boys and gals. I received the green light to give you guys a sneak peak from our friends over at War Machine. Here are some new hotness that will soon be available to the masses.
The top one will be dubbed the N4 which is an entry level version of the Nova platform geared to compete with the Emek. The lowers are composite and it features a quick release barrel. Essentially pull the tab in front of the feedneck and pull the barrel out.
The bottom one will be dubbed the N2. It has a more modern design than what we’ve seen before but it’s a design that WM did over 20 years ago but never released. Talk about ahead of its time being that it’s all mechanical. The grip covers are also all aluminum so you can anodize the complete marker to match if you care to do so. Details will follow in the next few weeks and hope to get some shooting videos soon.
To those going to #fuldagap, you might be able to see these there hanging on the back wall. Our friends at WM are busy as you can tell, I love that they’re pushing out truly new products and not just more of the same. Keep at it I say! Just makes the industry better.
Credit to Jigs Salazar for the information and photos.
Edit to add information from the comments of the post:
N4 will have a very appealing price point in the $200-$250 range I think
Okay I forgot to add one thing about the N2, it’s mechanics will be the softest on paintballs that you can put your finger in the breech and the ‘bolt’ won’t pinch it and it will just bounce off your finger.
The N3 will be available next week.

I absolutely love they are pushing out all these new markers (The industry needs something different than what is being pushed out now!). However, I will say I was planning on buying a N3 as soon as they were released. With all these releases planned though, I think my best bet it to wait until all the planned markers are released and buy the one I want the most. I'd hate to buy an N3 and then the N4 comes out and it is way better!

I may or may not have held both of those.😈

"Made to compete with the Emek"
lol yeah good luck with that 😆 Especially if it still has a reciprocating barrel, which it appears to. I mean, I know every time I post in this thread I'm a huge cynic. I do think it's cool that these have come out, especially in a sort of boutique context. The N2 in particular is intriguing as it looks like a very modern gun. I'm guessing that's the gun from the teaser pic in the first post. But if they really think they'll compete with the emek, they need a serious dose of reality. Provide an interesting and unique alternative option, sure. But compete?

IDK, in popularity, maybe, but actual performance to cost, it'll be interesting. Quick comparison:
N4 base cost is supposedly $250, has on/off, gas thru grip, low operating pressure, and supposedly the same "super light" Terr-air trigger as we've seen on the N3 and will be available for the N1.
EMEK 100 base cost is $290, on/off asa is another $50, and Deadlywind Hair trigger upgrade is $90, so new cost is $430.
