Morlock mk3 firmware upgrade

So I'm announcing this in the places I'm assuming people heard about them in the first place, I added "NXL" ramping mode to the Morlock firmware (now v1.03). 1.01 NXL had a bug in it where ALL ramping was considered NXL. Not a big deal but I shipped about 15 boards with this error, and like 50 with the 1.01 non-NXL firmware.

In the future I'm not going to "go wide" with the announcement, you should check in now and again to the Morlock site/ if you care about firmware upgrades.

My board won't go into it's bootloader mode... goes through a countdown from 10 and gets stuck at 1. Maybe why my laptop won't recognize it?

Could you possibly have a port setting issue? I know usb com programs that connect to vfds and such have to be on com 3. If you have a different device allocating the com 3 port with a usb it may be trying to connect to that.

I did try all three USB ports on the laptop with the same result.

That's... odd... perhaps there was a bug in some versions of the software that prevent it but I've never seen it happen. If you send me your board I'll pay return shipping and make sure it's fixed.

The board is still functional as it is, I just thought I'd update it because why not?

It's kind of a pain to take out - I'm running it in a homebrew e-bolt Tippmann 98 - so I'll just leave it for now. Appreciate the offer, though. 🙂
