We might be getting our Favorite store back - Bacci Paintball
Personally, I'm hoping the rework includes properly archiving the historical info, rather than continuing to bury it all in the cesspool that is Facebook.
I’ve been waiting for over 2 months to get an invoice on a few parts from him to finish a couple of Sheridan projects. Still holding out hope though, I want to clear my plate of Sheridan projects and sell off the last of what I don’t end up needing.
Thanks guys. More limited means I run it for 1-2 weeks a month. And as Doc said I do plan to take everything to paintball history dot com but everything just takes (write ups and videos) so much time but this is a long term project with that being the ultimate goal.
And sorry to keep you waiting GanonsGrin. I’m trying not to take orders with the site off without the orders packed, I’ll try to pack tomorrow when I’m back at storage. Thanks again everyone.
If anyone is in Northern California please join us for stock class next weekend.

If you're accepting requests, I'd like to see PaintballHistory.com adopt - at least in part - a Wiki for users to make contributions themselves. There are many powerful, free and open source wiki options out there, such as PM Wiki.

Exactly Siress. Paintballhistory.com is built on wordpress and I had always hoped there would be interest for people to contribute but at the same time I'm afraid of asking people to spend time helping and then not have time to dedicate myself. A wiki system on top of it is a cool idea, I will check out PM Wiki. Thanks!
We were talkin Wikis over on the Guild- because of it being brought up here the other day- and it was pointed out that a lot of the "free" wiki apps are heavily ad-supported. Meaning you can have your Wiki, of course, but every page is full of ads that don't relate to it, and you can't choose which ones to show.
If you can, choose some software that's ad-free, which likely means it'll cost something up front. I'd be happy to throw in a few bucks towards the purchase price, and a bunch of others here would likely be willing to do the same.
I think you're talking about configuration as a service, which is how the guild has always operated as far as I could tell. Bacci here seems to have been doing this all himself over the years, as far as I could tell. Something like PmWiki is configured by the server admin, and is entirely open source - so if it had any baked in features you could remove them at your leisure.
Thanks Doc and Siress. Yeah prefer to use open source stuff that I can set up (I do pay for hosting), learn and know how to work with / trouble shoot, back up. I'd prefer to not take money from people. I still have patreon and I feel guilty enough that is still running while I'm not doing enough archiving and documentation. Thanks for the help guys.
Looks like I may soon have no excuse to not finish that 68 Special restoration that stalled out about this time last year. It was virtually complete when I over-torqued the feedneck and cracked the damned thing.
The Automag: Not as clumsy or random as an electro. An elegant marker for a more civilised age.
I'd be more than happy to donate towards getting a proper Wiki up and running. Your time is neither free nor limitless, so don't feel bad about accepting donations. I'm dead sure there are a whole lot of others who would like to donate as well.
