Lone wolf paintball ( I know I know they are full of misinformation) has a shooting video up. It sounds loud and they even comment on it being loud.

It’s going to depend on what marker you put it on. So shooting videos are pretty irrelevant especially when you are getting to the point we are splitting pubes while shooting paint shaped like a football and textured like a golf ball.

anyone have a shooting video of this barrel compared to something else we would all know, like a dye UL?

From the shooters perspective it is comparable to most well ported offerings out there. The fit and tolerances are very good for the inserts and alignment is perfect on mine running both Eclipse and Inception PWR inserts. A bit spendy, but it’s a cool product.

Follow up: I’m a big fan. Getting a lot of comments that it is extremely quiet from my teamates and opponents perspective. Sound is pretty comparable to my UL-I for the shooter. The benefits of keeping all sorts of junk and debris out of the inside are huge for me. I don’t see myself going back to a traditional barrel.

Has anyone broken a ball in one of these barrels and has a report on how they preform gunked up?

I have the same question. That was my first thought when I first saw these come out.

Dose it come apart easy for cleaning?

Yes. with the barrel removed push the front insert in, pull the end cap out then both inserts can be removed and it is a open tube.

Nice so you like it so far? Not sure I need another barrel system. I still haven’t switched over to the new barrel inserts. So it would likely be an expensive purchase. I would
like to try one eventually. I do like the look of these VS the Planet Eclipse barrel.

I picked mine up for rain play. I don’t play a ton in the rain, but now I know I can and not have to have a rain tip etc. it takes a bit to get used to the different sound signature, but I like shooting it. Sound does change with the difference between a underbore and overbore.

            1. I'm always happy to see new products and innovation.

            2. Any time I see a new barrel come out it reeks of snake oil, and this one is no exception.

So what happens if you put the smallest bore set in it and shoot some of the larger reballs?

I'm talking about foreseeable misuse, though... is there any foreseeable misuse that leads to this barrel becoming a projectile itself?

I do not think the force from a regulation paintball shot would be anywhere strong enough to break the barrel threads. Hydraulics, perhaps, but air is compressible.
