Anyone heard any news or timelines on the V2? Called nova a couple weeks ago and they said they were machining them at that time and to check on Facebook. Haven’t seen anything on the public page and don’t have an account to dive in further. Will call again next week to check in but figured some others here are also looking to swap for a v2.

My dryer sings that same song when it's done.
Oh, and the sleeve looks like a great solution too.

Yeah you’re probably right. At that point just get a an actual Duck Slide. Although, those would still need to be machined and anodized as well.

Once you add the cost of sending it out to a proper machine to try to fix some of the issue, then polish it enough for and the actual ano cost, they're not that competitively priced anymore ... And you still have slop and miss-drill ...

They were saying this would be a phantom threaded barrel hence my skepticism.

Honestly if it took the slop out of the slide and was a reasonable length for a pistol. They would still need to make a roundhead fit the slide. Their products are competitively priced. I think a Docs freak Bull barrel would look better especially since it’s not ported so it will sound cool.
Unless they make a Phantom threaded version of there barrel. It will have to be a bit goofy at the back to fit the current slide design.

Maybe I'm just being cynical, but this screams cash grab to capitalize on our mistake.

^ that sounds like it would be a perfect setup. I have a round body sitting around. I may have to pick up a v2 and send it off to someone to get the fit and finish up to snuff.
