Lt. head-shot you can use a body that has the ASP mod. You can't use a cocker threaded ASP body as they aren't tapered in the front. I'm using a CCI body that has the ASP mod on my duckslide with no issue.

It certainly feels like they tricked guys into Beta testing this…
Hopefully, they do what they say and make it right both for those buyers and future versions.

I don't think that was their intention, but this certainly rings a similar bell to the cockers. Though a lot of those issues could be fixed during assembly. This not so much.

Maybe they should have had someone that actually uses a phantom assemble and test it..... before going into full production.

There are multiples of us in the state.....Myself, grendel, Nish, Plus multiples that are local to me.

I would say it is more frustration than it is hate.
Multiple people have offered advice, designs, critiques and solutions for some of the things that nova has designed and released. Many of those things were not implemented, but were clearly pointed out early in production. I know because i regularly talk to some of those people that offered advice. They want people to enjoy and shoot autocockers, not see them as a pain to work on because of changes that could have and or should have been made pre-production with a simple conversation.

So they're already working on a v2, and if you bought the v1 you can just get it swapped for the V2.

Yeah that’s what I mean. No asp cut means no larger barrels, minus maybe the deadlywind. As for the hopper… I’d more care about the modern EV feeds, but if that is the same size as the hopper then so be it. Tolerances to the trigger frame could keep slip in line, technically.

so, there is a single goober on FB that is crying about not being able to use his with a hopper.
now they are telling him the new run will be cut for that.
im trying to convince them that 99% of folks do not want that.

Me: No, all the bodies/valves/frames/barrels anybody will be using with these will be extremely close in size.
The original Duckslide was a great success partly due to its tight tolerances and the consistency of one phantom to the next.

so, I just put mine together with internals and everything and the play at the barrel is almost just as bad. and theres wobble down the whole length.
to them, excessive scratching and rattling around is a feature, not a flaw.
