My question is weather or not they're going to show the Trilogy any love. I'm not holding my breath but it would be neat to see some different bodies/parts come out for that platform. I know my trilly pro could use a new timing rod.
The trilogy sport was my first ever paintball gun that i owned. I would love to see some trilogy love to happen. While like you said not super likely it would be very cool.
ACparts.com is a separate entity, WGP / Worr games products has its own web site with just OG WGP branded products and will contain new WGP branded products as they come out... Everything will be made in the USA, not just prototypes or just assembled in USA,..... Budd handed over a ton of the original files and renderings of unreleased products over to Gene so in the future some pretty amazing things are going to come out...Its a cut throat world in paintball so don't expect previews of the unreleased stuff to come out to the public before hand.. I have seen some of the renderings and some are pretty amazing....I will try and get Gene to chime in here but his time dealing with production/ running parts and and dealing with orders from ACP is pretty demanding at the moment..
Makes sense, 11/16 valves are objectively better than 9/16, and the red chamber (of which this design is emulating) is an elegant solution to that design.
OK, so I've not kept up on newer cocker specs. What makes the Meteor spec different than the 2k+? If there's valve differences I wouldn't know. The only valve body I've ever had to pull was from a Trilogy.
It’s basically a cartridge valve 11/16. This lets you play with dump chamber volume like what meteor is doing with there newest valve setups on there new body’s. You can add massive volume for low pressure builds especially with the larger volume in front of the valve on an 11/16th bore.
It’s a pretty cool design concept that works well and allows more custom volume options at the expense of static orings in the lower tube. Should not be a reliability issue as long as the body’s bore is deburred well. Kind of what Spanky was attempting but didn’t execute all that well.
