Top picture is proof that I actually went to an MCB event, it started to down pour as soon as the game started. I couldn’t see the castle 20 ft in front of me. Wasn’t a long game but I remember drinking a lot of yuengling beer. -
I was there at the all-pump defense. As I remember though, it was not the shortest castle game ever. There was a reason for that.
As the attackers came off the field with the final prop, there was a reporter referred to as "Hollywood" and rather well known at the time who intercepted those boys retuning with the prop.
He kept them occupied for 15 minutes asking questions before they realized the clock was still ticking until the prop was delivered.
True story, I watched it happen. I heard or read after that those 15 minutes cost them the record time. -
those pics are pretty good considering it was 20+ years ago. Much better than pics at Warpig which were shot with a potato, seemingly. -
I see the corner of my car in the first picture I was definitely at this event with the 518th Brigade -
The pig was sooo clean then. I think that was only the second EMR event it saw since it was first pressed into service during Quest the previous year. -
