Glad, I finally found the field, no thanks to Axel or Deltasteve. Otherwise, I'd have missed out on an awesome day of gelatinous fun. It was a great day for paintball...not too hot and not too cold. I'm not even ashamed at the fact that I was eliminated multiple times by an 11yr old girl. It's ok really! But, I may or may not have earned some time in the "Shame" t-shirt though, for my refusal to surrender.... "Never"!

I’ve spent the last day rebuilding all of my main semis after this game. If I had remembered to bring my reading glasses yesterday, I would have seen that my Emek issue was an easy fix (slipped o-ring). The other guns all definitely needed their regs rebuilt though. Lesson learned. I’m keeping a blowback in the car in the future just in case the more complicated guns go down. Thanks Bret for the loaner 98.

Always bring backups, preferably in brass.

I actually had backups to my backups. The only gun that wasn't down or being finicky was my Sniper. With the crowd we had on Saturday, we all ended up switching to semis. The weird thing was, all of them worked when I tested them the day before. I spent the rest of my weekend rebuilding two Autocockers, an Automag, and a Threshold. The Emek was a one minute fix I would have caught if I could have seen it. There was brass there, but it stayed in everyone's trunks that day.
