Editing in the middle of a message

I am typing messages, and going back to correct errors or add thoughts in the middle and every time I use spacebar it adds another (random)? word to the end of corrected word. I don't know if it's me or everyone.

    Edit: I'm using a OnePlus 6T phone.

Hmm... Can't recreate it, but will keep an eye on it.

Yeah, I noticed this as well. Only on mobile. There's some weird interaction with autocorrect where if your cursor is positioned wrong it will double-enter the corrected word.Using a Pixel 3a.

Same here, on Pixel 3. If the cursor is touching the first letter of the next word, it completely replaces that word with the one I just typed after tapping space bar.

Yeah, I am seeing this as well. I've noticed it on Disqus and sometimes Facebook. It may be an issue with specific phones or keyboard software

Been getting the same thing. Here only though and only on my phone, a Pixel 2.

Incidentally, I am using a Pixel2XL, which is starting to look like a trend here

Maybe. I noticed a yellow pop-up bar above the post box that asked if I wanted to keep or discard deleted content. Can't getTget it toato reappeartreappear,l ofaof course.
There's alsonalso thetthe auto-saved notice thatpthat popsupops on the right side. I'm not ready to rule out the pixel connection but we might also be getting screwed from multiple angles here.

Haha! There! Got it all to go to hell and let it!

FYI: I had been struggling along with this issue since July, but I just switched to the Brave browser on Android, and the problem is completely gone. I don't know what about this browser is different because it's still based on Chromium, but if you're dealing with wonky text edits still, it's worth trying
