Unable to see threads

Pretty much any time the mods cull a thread or someone deletes a post, among who knows what other actions, I start getting this message when I click on the notification that something has happened in the thread:


Normally, I can still navigate to the thread through the homepage. However, this 'STRANGE Impulse' thread seems to have completely vanished from anywhere I look yet multiple people are clearly active on it. What's going on here?

I'm having a similar problem trying to read one of Jordan's threads. It doesn't matter if I try to read it from my computer or phone, signed in or not. The page won't load, and I get that "you are not authorized to view this page" message. I helped Jordan build that gun, and I can't even look at the finished result. ☹

Huh. Well, now I can see it. How strange. But that URL is different than the one I was getting through the notifications. So weird.

I'll get notifications like this:

"So-and-so and -1 others commented on your subscription"

And those notifications take me to the exact problem you're describing here.
