Notifications?

It is quite common for me to log on and see that I have notifications. I click there to "go to the Message Center" and either the notification will just go away, or it will take me to (for instance) my own thread where no new activity is present.

Is this a deleted comment, or a bug?

Try this...

Hit the notification tab at the top of the page. On the right side panel click on "notifications". In the left corner there is a filter button. In the first section "new/dismissed" select both.

That will show all past notifications. Sometimes I click notifications up top and the notification goes away if I accidentally refresh.

^ Nice, thank you much. It even did it when I clicked to see the notification about your posting in this thread. I click and it's just gone.
