Given the amount of paintball info that's been lost over the years due to various sites going down I believe it would be wise to consider crowd sourcing the backups of mcb.

Im thinking that if at the end of every month the website is bundled into an archive file and then the previous months torrent is released to the public (or maybe just greenies). That way the backups are always a bit behind making it less likely for copy cat sites to pop up. While giving the community a way to ensure the preservation of the data

This is interesting... We have a full nightly backup now that goes on a separate drive. But I have nothing against it as long as the personal info can be weeded out. I have full back ups for vintagerex also. I can make those available, I literally designed it to be easily downloaded and the information transferred.
