“Great Lakes” addition to “Local Games”

No sure if there are just too few MCB’s in and around the Great Lake border states, but for me I feel games listed from Pittsburgh to Milwaukee, and Mackinaw to Cincinnati should have a section in there. Us Lakers aren’t quite NE, and not quite Central!

    Just a thought fellas

I want to disagree, there are a lot of areas that are not represented well. An entire country has 1 section "Canada". We do not have anything for our South American brethren at all. California has 2 sections and Alaska the only state that has it's own group has zero posts in it. If we are going to change it maybe have NE, SE, North Central, and South Central, Pacific Northwest and South West Canada can be divided in half East and West, add Hawaii to Alaska, and add an international area.
I hate to say it but PBnation has / had it divided well in that they had the major geography and then sub areas in those. I think Canada should remain an independent part since they are more active then a lot of other members here.

I like that proposed concept of six main sections for continental US jokers
I have avoided asking for a while, as I’m still newish on here- and I don’t like to stir pots I’m not cooking in- but I will offer thoughts on ingredients!

Without suggestions and feedback nothing is going to change and while sometimes that is good it can mean that it stagnates.

I have nothing against it. Unusually wait to see if there is enough reaction to see if it is warranted to add. I'll have it added today when I get on a real computer and not just on my phone

Yeah there are many of us in MN. I would consider myself more central than great lakes though as I'm in the cities. Lake superior is a 2.5 hour drive to me.

there are actually quite a few MN guys in here tho. I'd be happy to post my events in the great lakes area.

MN guy as well. Depends on what you like. Airball isn't nearly as popular in the area as recball/woodsball. That being said, Annandale paintball is a really fantastic field, with a great owner, if that's what you like. The only other field I know of that even has an airball field setup regularly is SplatBall. There's a handful of good fields around the Twin Cities area, though very few fields in MN proper actually host regular events. Special Forces Paintball is starting to host their D-day game again, and Annandale hosts some tournaments/events. If you like big events, you have to hop over to Wisconsin, usually.

There's a pretty strong milsim following, with the SAS group going to/helping run a lot of events. Unfortunately not a whole lot of pump, or stock class, players. Besides BrickHaus, I can probably count the number of other people I've seen rocking a pump setup on one hand.

Heck yeah, mainly a rec/woods all/hyper ball guy myself. Run mainly pump/stock class along with some older mechs occasionally.
