    Wraparound Wood Grain Grips $12

    Greetings all!

With Oil prices being at an all time high, and projected to get even worse, the winters here in Maine are going to be potentially deadly! With that in mind, I would like to try to raise some money for Charity to help those out that struggle.

I will donate 100% of the payment from these grips (minus shipping costs) to a local paintball friendly veteran's charity: Maine Veteran's Project (MVP) (https://maineveteransproject.org/) in a late friend of mine Bob Derosby's name. MVP strives to combat Veteran suicideby providing all kinds of events (monthly paintball events!) and helping Veterans in need, like filling oil tanks, or deliver firewood completely free to the veterans. There are a lot of older Maine veterans that can't afford the $800 monthly heating bill this winter. Not to mention all the other veteran's who still struggle acclimating to civilian life. From their website: Veterans make up just .045% of the total population yet account for 20% of all suicides in the United States.

These grips are 3d printed in wood. You can treat these like normal wood, you can sand, carve, and stain these to fit whatever you are putting these on. Keep in mind these are not as strong as SP wood grips so don't run them over with your car. These should fit just about any single or 45 frames. There may be a need for some modification. for the single hole frames I simply removed the retaining pins at the top of the grip since they are not needed on a wrap around grip. Or you could simply carve out a little more of the grip if you had aggressive retaining pins you did not want to remove.

Orders will be open until November 5th!!!! After that I will not be taking any other orders.

    The cost:
    Single Hole Grips $12
    45 grips $15
    Plus $5 shipping
*Anyone going to Reaperball on the 5th at OSG, I can deliver these and save you the shipping cost

There are three colors to choose from:
    -Light wood (best for staining)
    -Dark wood
    -Rosewood

Please be specific which design you want and which color of wood.

I have several on hand to ship asap, but other will need to be printed and each set takes 14 hours of printing and wood printing is extremely difficult so there is a huge possibility of failures resulting in reprints! So please be patient. Depending on how many people want, it might take a lot of time to get these to you!

Once I run out of my wood spools of filament, I will no longer be selling these!

I would like to give a huge thank you to @FredMnkyDad10 for design inspiration and collaboration!

Bumping this thread. I need to get me some. Im think 2x single hole, in light wood and 1x 45 in dark or rose. Im not picky, so whatever is already printed works color wise.

The single holes seem to work with or without a umb plate under them?

I am all out of the pre printed grips. But I can print more. I am a bit back logged since the light wood filament went bad and I had to order new. I'll pm you to sort out any details.

Also, I don't know what a umb plate it. So if you could educate me on that I can get you an answer!

No rush, I j8st wanna support ya and get cool grips in the process.

A umb plate is a universal mounting bracket to add a bottom line asa to sheridans. It adds a little thickness to the grip so it may mess with grip dims. Your one picture shows a sheridan with an asa, so I presume it has a umb. Your other pictures show mags with the single hole, so I assume they work either way, but wanted to ask. Id hate to crack em if I over compress them onto q skinny grip.

That ASA looks directly screwed into the grip frame. The UMB plates add some space between teh bottom of the grip and the top of the ASA (about a "mini rail" profile)

        This is awesome.

Is it possible to mix filaments to get a "grain" pattern? More just curious... not making any paintball purchases this winter.

I'm gonna have to swing back through in the spring! I want some of these!

It is in theory possible. It would need to be printed with an IDEX (Independent Dual Extruder?) printer, so one with two heads which both heads can print independently of the other. I do have one of those, but I have had very limited success printing two colors all throughout the print. I tried printing some stuff for a user here to match their PTP Micromag Sponge ano. Programatically it looked awesome, but when it printed it just did not turn out well. It is best for a print that uses one color for several hours then switches to the other color. With the heads constantly switching on and off for a wood grain like look it creates a mess and a disaster of a print. It is just not worth it. Maybe a nicer printer could handle it, but I know mine cannot. Sorry...
