Are the valve bodies tapped for side air hoses

I do have some Nelson bodies that certainly can be side-tapped. They're bare/unanodized, though. How many do you want?

Wouldn't it be considered both by simply rotating the nelson valve body 180 degrees at will. The frame screw hole is not threaded, correct?
