Hello everyone!
Who has a PGP with a broken or bent front sight post? I have 3 myself… Wouldn’t it be nice to have a replacement?
After allot of R&D, we finally have it! Finding metal fabrication shops with the equipment necessary for these tiny parts was not easy. But I eventually found one. They are brass and designed to replace the original sight.
Here’s the rub (literally). I now know that many PGP front plugs have their front sight post hole not quite far enough from the tip of the feed tube. This is why the sight scrubs and doesn’t remove easily. This means that a new sight, with newly cut threads doesn’t like the offset very much. So, it does take a minute to get it threaded in. If you want to double-check the threads, just remove your front cap and you will see that it threads in easily. This initial thread in is frustrating, but that’s part of having a crisp, band new front sight!
Enjoy!
