High Flow Action Markers Valves

Back on MCB 2.0, I posted a longwinded narrative about making valves for AM guns.

Edit: only one left!

Valves are $35, Diadem valve pins plus cup seals are $15, Sentinel valve pins plus cup seals are $10, Lapco Spyder cup seals are $8. Shipping is $5.

Stainless steel, a conical entry face, and a well-matched exhaust port. The conical face means they seal at the OD of the cupseal, so even a heavily worn valve-cup assembly still will seal reliably on these. (At least, the black and translucent amber ones, and the translucent Lapco Spyder cups. White nylon Spyder seals are not reliable.)

They sweetspot between 400 and 500psi on a Sentinel platform, allowing shooting velocities with the same springs as the stock valve at 800psi. CNC machined on the office's Integrex 300S, by someone who's not me, so they came out really well. There are pilot holes if you want to drill (5-64ths) for additional blowback gas; I find drilling one port to be helpful but the second to be unhelpful.

I also have a small stash of OEM Diadem and Sentinel-Illusion valve pins and cup seals. The Diadem pins are narrower in the middle; both have blowback flats.

What's the O.D. on these? Will they work on another platform?

These are .75 nominal OD; they're quite specific to AM as far as I've found. Nobody else made a lower tube this size.

Thanks for making these. Someone has to have a sentinel they want to make actually work.

That "someone" was me, last year... time to bring others into the fold. Gabe said his works nicely in his Illusion, too - I'm still waiting to see an Illusion for sale at a price I can justify.

To add to the above, these are for sure a game changer. Between the diadem valve stems that flyweightnate somehow got his hands on and these valves both the Illusion and the Sentinel are totally different guns. The Sentinel shoots more like an Intimidator than a Spyder at this point.

I am officially OUT of Diadem valve stems, and down to 3 Sentinel valve stems. A half- dozen or so valve bodies left at this point.

Probably not - these are .156 diameter, IIRC. Last Spyder pin I tried rattled around a lot in there.

Need a set but still havnt been able to get the valve out of my illusion body.

Strange, it shouldn't be stuck in there. They're a major pain to pull apart but it should just push out the front.

Remove the pump
Remove the front lpc/pump guide rod/velocity adjuster housing thing
Remove grip frame
Remove rear cap, cocking rod, and hammer as a unit (This is the real pain in the butt. I normally hold the back block back by pushing the protruding pump rods against the edge of a table then use an allen key in the holes on the rear cap to twist it out. Once it's loosened up you can normally finish unthreading it out by hand)
Remove the grub screw in the bottom of the body that holds the valve in
Use a wood dowel or squeegee to push the valve out the front of the body from the rear
