Gold/Black dust EVIL PIMP! MINT pre retail release gun!

    SOLD SOLD SOLD

Up for sale a MINT CONDITION pre public release PMI/KEE EVIL PIMP in Black & Gold Dust Anodizing! Back when I was sponsored by EVIL (i.e. PMI) I was given this and asked to review it for PMI/KEE before it was released for retail sale. I tested it, gave my impressions to PMI/KEE (by the way of a TON of paperwork) and put it back into it's box. There it's sat for all these years. This is unmodified from the factory set up and shows no signs of use (see pics). I just put in a battery and everything started up just fine, eyes work great and everything seems in perfect working order. I couldn't test fire it (I'm out of air...). Please check all the pictures I've included.

    Pimp Specifications:
*Electro-Pneumatic Open Bolt, *Un-Capped Board for insane rate of fire, *Trigger sensitivity, Ball delay are adjustable electronically, *Adjustable ROF (eye off), *Break Beam ACE System, 15/16-12 DL Barrel Threads (same as impulse markers), *Adjustable Respirator LPR, *Evil 300 PSI LPR Gauge, *Twist Lock Teflon Bolt - no visible bolt pin, *Dual Ball Detents, *Tra-less Trigger Frame, *Shortstack Feed Tube with o-rings to fit different hoppers, *Magnesium Eye Covers, *Magnesium Trigger, *On/Off ASA, *Macroline, *Detonator Vertical Regulator, *Pipe Barrel Tip, stock .689, *PimpKit back, *Evil Punch 2, *Barrel Centering O-ring, , *Evil Grips.

Not to hijack this thread but does anyone know how to work on these or where you can find parts? My brother bought 4 of them (all near mint) but the orings need replacing (bought a kit) but I need reg seats for the hpr and lpr. Any guidance is appreciated.

The lpr is junk even when it’s got good seats. Do yourself a favor and find some Timmy lprs, the stock ones creep

I disagree, Tinman74. There is an error in the manual which indicates an 010 o-ring to seal around the piston, but it should be an 009. With that and a new reg seat (I cut new seats myself) they work brilliantly with no creep. I use them on some of my Intimidators as well.

Paintmann111, I would be happy to hook you up with seats for the LPR and HPR. PM me.

For the rest of us who had to learn the bag trick, they were junk! However I always liked the detonator hpr.

Haha I know the bag trick! But it's totally unnecessary. Just wiggle the piston as you reinstall it.

Kaos put a cocker lpr on the one I bought and it’s never had an issue. That’s was probably close to 10 years ago

D@MN.... has it been that long? I think I also switched that stick trigger out for the after market and definitely improved bps.... it was a fun shooter.

I understand your aversion, but I really believe their bad reputation is more a result of improper rebuilds from people selling o-ring kits who have never successfully rebuilt one themselves. If you go off the manual, it will not function properly. But that's not good cause to completely dismiss the LPRs.

Even Intimidators have errors in the manual. For instance, the Intimidator manual specifies a Teflon o-ring in the Schrader valve of the Torpedo, and using one results in regulator creep as well. But that does not mean that Torpedo regulators are junk.

I appreciate your passion for lpr rebuilds however I’m not alone feeling like those lprs are trash. Ross from Boss Paintball used to have a really active evil/Pmi forum and he even recommended getting Timmy Lprs. I think I remember reading about a pro team shooting them with intimidator regs because of how unreliable they were. I’m glad you found a cure I just wish you posted 15 years ago!
