Back it’s original color would be the smart move.

That’s the original color is just got some mileage on that finish. The rest is there board looks good and if it airs up without leaks the noid is good. They don’t go bad but people put aftermarket grips and don’t pay attention to the screw length. The solenoid housing is directly behind that upper front grip frame screw. So they got destroyed a lot. Really the only issue with these are the age of the QEV diaphragm and the LPR and HPR piston reg seats. Vaseline Was recommended back then because PE did not offer there own version of Dow 33 at the time. We have a member making reg seats for them now and I know they work because I have used them to get my own markers up and running. Solenoids can be difficult to find and expensive however we have another member that has successfully shoehorned a readily available solenoid into them with great success as well. These private label SL74 are collectable. If it was a red and black vicious I would have already purchased this.
