Sorry, I dont know alot about impulses. What's this about a tapeworm?

This marker doesnt have a tapeworm in the picture. There is an air passage plug on the bottom left on the front of the gun . The tapeworm was a solenoid optimizer (some hose on a fitting) that replaced that plug to restrict airflow internally to fix bolt stick. This was especially helpful when dry firing or on non-vision guns when you ran out of paint as the bolt would get stuck in the forward position. It was a bit of tubing inside the body cavity that supplies air to the solenoid. I guess so the solenoid gets air faster?

It keeps the exhaust valve from starving the solenoid.
