Messed with the solenoid, got it to work but it is still puffing before it starts to rip, all i had is 3 year old paint and a broken halo to try it but i made a video. Would like to trade open to offers.Click image for larger version Name:	IMG_1691.jpg Views:	135 Size:	2.09 MB ID:	811777 Click image for larger version Name:	IMG_1692.jpg Views:	95 Size:	2.31 MB ID:	811778 Click image for larger version Name:	IMG_1690.jpg Views:	95 Size:	2.14 MB ID:	811779

Have you tried tossing out the old battery and adding a brand new, name-brand battery?

I havnt tried an energizer, I did put a brand new ac delco and a new rayovac in both batteries showed full on the screen. You think the battery could really make the difference? These were unopened batteries.

It is possible the 9V is the issue, but these solenoids are also known for crapping out. Its worth a try imo.

I think those batteries should work fine. I'd also assume the solenoid is dead, which is unfortunate, since they're unobtanium.

Mine sticks sometimes… I just went through this the other day and I was lucky my not so technical approach worked.

I replaced the battery with a new energizer, no air, no paint, turned marker on, turned eyes off and then kept pulling the trigger. 50 or so pulls in I could hear the solenoid start to click. Aired it up and it shot flawless.

These things need exercised on a regular basis. The 3.5 is my favorite shooter.

I’ve got a brand new solenoid when mine inevitably craps out. Was lucky to find it last year.

Did it work or do I have to buy this thing cause I have a solenoid? I wish I liked green more.

Check out the video, it worked but it still puffs right before it starts shooting ?

                        Disassemble and clean. You’re close.

I have taken the solenoid apart 3 times and cleaned it how I got it freed up was cutting the wires and shocking it with a 12 volt battery until the solenoid started clicking. Soldered it back together and then it worked with the 9v. But can’t seem to get the puffing to stop.

Call PE and ask real nicely for a new noid. They may have some, but expect to pay.
