This is such a chonk of a gun. What are the internals like? Is it simple to clean? If so this would make a great magfed option for a kid.

Pretty much a basic blow forward like an automag, but it has an absurdly long bolt. Pretty big markers. I had one with the vector kit on it.

I've got the milsig model. They're super easy to work on. The back has two takedown pins, pull them out and the internals and a spring come out attached to the tank threads.

Friend of mine has one that I worked on. It's basically an automag copy that has a really heavy bolt and that extra mass shows down the travel so it can do mechanical full Auto.

Basic maintenance is really easy, you may want at least a video if you are doing a full rebuild. But as far as milsim stuff goes, I think these are a really cool design
