I don't really know anything about these markers, but doesn't the gun say "Etha" on it. Is that normal?

Emek means Etha Mechanical. EMF is Etha Mag Fed. That's why they still say Etha on the bodies and the parts are mostly cross compatible.

Once you put an aftermarket body on it, it won't say Etha anymore!

They all do. This is the mechanical version of the Etha 2 i believe. Basically they remove the electronic grip frame and add a single trigger frame.

Hint: factory Emek box will fit nicely in a medium flat rate box. You will just need to fold the flap on one end a little differently but you will be able to fit it.
