Sooo one ram pumps the other returns? Hence the open air brass sintered air filters I assume?

Yes sir. You can also plumb it a different way with T-barbs.

Really shouldn't be needed the same volume of air is needed because he is using each ram for only one action.

I was thinking the main advantage of two rams was that the force needed to cock the marker back and compress the main spring would be greater then the force needed to pump the gun forward and load a ball, so you'd be able to decrease the pressure on the return stroke significantly and allow for some pretty insane levels of gentle paint handling.

Assuming the 3 way is more or less the same design as other cockers, what's the benefit of having dual ram?

That’s correct. Deleted the old post and started over with new pics. Slightly different IVG configuration currently.

With a standard IVG it's a midget. It's currently at 275 with proper bore match. I also have a cust IVG that will allow for a standard length main spring. You've got options.

i am pretty certain that this gun is now mine, i got it disassembled with a broken filter cone, can anyone confirm the filter is standard 10-32 thread? i am likely replacing them with flat filters so i dont have to be real careful. such a cool config. the previous owner changed to really nice grip panels and it now has a black vert reg, but other than that it seems the same. it does have a short spring and shooting around 280

correct inception ram barbs are 10-32 threaded. you can see here to double check https://inceptiondesigns.com/LPR_RAM...p/IFP-1027.htm
