If you did a red anno on the trigger and asa and had a 2 piece barrel with a black back and the same color as the body front, AS IS , it would look KILLER.

    Beautiful marker, GLWS!

Man, that would look sick. A nice blood red and black would be sharp! I have considered sending it out for Anno and selling it after that, but figured I would give someone else the opportunity to do whatever color combo they wanted. If it doesn’t sell, I’ll keep it and finish the project. Maybe even in Red! Thanks for the feedback.

Really neat piece. These were born to be pumped but I'm sure they're great semis too. I'm still kicking myself for not sniping this body on ebay.

Thanks man. I agree, my original plan was to build a pump, but I had the ID slider and pneumatics so I figured it made sense. You’re right about the body, it was a killer deal I couldn’t pass up.

Did you screw the banjo bolt and frame screws into the raw body threading?

Yes, it’s just for the photos. It’s never been used and was torn down after taking the pictures.

It's generally advised that you should never screw anything into a raw threading as the threads are too soft before anodizing and it can damage the threads. Hopefully you escaped without any damage but it's something that any prospective buyer needs to be cautious of and could easily ruin a project if the threads get rolled or damaged.

I appreciate the concern. If this were a gun that had been built and used/played with then I absolutely agree with you. But, assuming everything fits as designed, installing a few screws in order to test fit something is not putting it at risk. I’ve worked in aerospace products R&D my entire career, much of it working with all kinds of aluminum, and can assure you, test fitting a run prior to anodizing (or any other finishing process) is standard. That’s working with tolerances an order of magnitude smaller than anything you’ll find on a paintball gun. Again, if this was something that was used and stressed or installed incorrectly, you’d have a fair point, but as I said, it was snugged up for pictures and then disassembled.

If you (this goes for anyone), are interested in purchasing but concerned about the threads, I am more than happy to send high resolution photos of them. Or should you receive the marker and it’s not to your satisfaction, I would offer a full refund.

Thanks for the engagement, have a great day!
