Yep I sure did start with a spyder mech. Mine was green center feed. that thing never let me down. Abuse in the rain, mud it kept on going. Miss that one.

Those og spiders are slick. I had the silver one as my first real gun back in 94 ish. The red ones are newer versions but still old. Just a simple no frills shooting experience. Tempting....

The old spyders in that era were super reliable. Not sure what happed with more recent models.
