Palmer's Squall clone - built by me, uses a few PPS components (grip frame, bolt, feedplug, Rock LPR, Quicksilver) and everything else is how I'd build one if given the chance.
It takes Freak XL inserts - total barrel length is around 10" - uses a Rock LPR that threads into a side-saddle mount (so you can use any LPR you want), has a Shocktech wire detent, and runs standard (with slight modification) Sheridan internals, so no more prone to leakage PPS components. The only Palmers part with bespoke seals is the Quickswitch in the frame.
Brand new Clippard ram, new hoses, new bolt link from Netsurferdude2.
Gets 20ish shots to a 12gram - Quicksilver changers are fussy about 12gram size so I recommend either getting a Doc Fastchanger, or sticking with Lelands/Mosas.
Two things to mention: the LPR nickel was peeling so I sanded it down - it's decent but a black Rock would look the best - and the bolt - Palmers sent me a O/U Nasty bolt by accident but I think it was the last bolt they had in stock, never got a reply to my emails asking about it - so the air port goes straight through the bolt. I haven't noticed it affecting velocity, but I wanted to mention it.
The grips will be shipped with PPS billet grips, not the battle grips.
