Greetings,
Up for sale is a SP CVO mechanical marker based on the SP RSX. I purchased this marker 'previously owned' due curiosity, as I enjoy looking at all sorts of paintball related items. I cleaned out some nooks and crannies, and enjoyed learning about the first Shocker since SP was started. The marker shoots fine, I shot a hopper full of paint in the back yard. The valve action reminds me of an Automag, yet a lot lighter and smoother. The 45 frame is really nice, especially if you have different grips in storage from those Automag/Autococker builds 20 years ago. Also of interest is while the action is open-bolt, you will need to release the trigger for the bolt to reset (similar to an Autococker). Still, the action is very fast and there are plenty of CVO trigger adjustments and QEV adjustments (to relieve bolt pressure) which makes this a great tinker's toy if you really want to push the edge.
By the way, also included is a Freak-style barrel. And the SP line now uses Autococker-type barrel threading. I also learned the SP RSX is slightly smaller than the newer SP XLS and AMP. It is definitely a very light marker, and I can see why the SP product line remains a popular platform.
I am now moving on to a new paintball related project, so this marker is available for $475 (Price Drop to $425 JAN 03) (SOLD JAN 07) shipped domestic via USPS Priority Mail.
Images on the marker can be found in Google drive link below (please kindly share if the link does not work).
