Did theae work together? (Valve and body)

I have a gen 2 micro body, and x valve.. I cant make it work to save my life. I was told by Myrkul its well known you cant use a lvl 10, or an x valve on a micromag body. But Im hoping itll work some day.

I’m running into the same issue. It gasses up but the trigger just pulls back with resistance and never fires. If you check my rebuild thread, somebody recommended removing one of the on off o-rings and that did the trick. Going to attempt that what I get home later

Dont forget that some of these Micromags needed on/off pins as short as .625. Spent countless hours trying to figure them out. Almost everyone used a different size pin. Dont blame the valve...blame the gun.

Tunaman. I know it was a body issue forsure. But I pieced together the micro body and the valve then sold all my extra mag parts years back. I was talking to myrkul about it and he was like this all well documented not to be compatible on AO.

So you are saying if I turn my on off pin down its a possibility? Or does someone on AO sell short on off pins?

And OP sorry for hijacking the thread. Your set up just made my brain kick on.

The only body issues I have encountered were with the 2k9 bodies. Nobody sells the shorter pins but you could try grinding one down .010 at a time. This is why AGD would never work on these guns. Too unpredictable. I have built many over the years using all types of valves.

Sounds like Tunaman is the expert on making them work together. I had concluded it was definitely a body geometry versus the on-off pin thing before focus switched to other projects. I never got the X valve working correctly and I'm now just focusing on other projects (which includes another mag which is why i want to keep the valve). It worked fine with the classic valve that i had on it I had before I stupidly got rid of it.

I do remember there being a slight difference in the internal body dimensions of the PTP bodies. Some had to be honed out a few thou so the L10 bolt would fit it. Easily fixed though... Always drop your L10 bolt down in the PTP bodies first to make sure it clears before proceeding...

If someone wants to buy this, I’ll make you a good deal on a Micromag Classic Valve.

not gonna lie… I’m tempted to buy this just because I have a Micromag valve sitting around. Haha.

I've really gotta slow down for a bit. Just got a cs3 and an empire trracer is in the mail. That said, I could pick up a nice Retro valve for a future mag. How much?

I got my RT valve to work in my micromag finally by shaving down the on off pin. It doesn’t rt so might need to file it more or have a higher input pressure than 850psi

Bump and price drop. FYI, If someone does not want some parts, i am willing to remove them and lower the price. I removed the previous option from the listing to simplify it.
