Autococker Barrels - UL and OG AA

What kind of markings is there? Homebrew or factory? As far as I know, the early version of AA barrels were differentiated in bore size by the color of the back. More specifically .686 light gray, .689 black, and .691 dark gray. So that back, provided it is light gray, should be .686.
This is why the back of glued AA barrels are of these three colors on any Smart Part marker that was sold in factory anno, but the backs stood out like a sore thumb. It vexed me until I found out.

Then I'd hazard to guess that the marking is from a previous owner, after he/she measured it incorrectly with a set of calipers. I'm quite sure that the barrel is in fact .686, as denoted by the color of the back.
I have a Smart Parts Micromag where every single part is matching splash anno - except the barrel back - just to mark what size it is.

FYI: Dye's labeling convention is that unmarked backs are .688, with any other size being marked.
The Automag: Not as clumsy or random as an electro. An elegant marker for a more civilised age.
