Old school integrated max flow reg and tank (over 15 yrs old)

Hey guys, Ive got a super old max flow tank with regulator for sale today. Despite its age, its in great shape, no real dings or scratches at all. Despite its looks, this tank is past the 15 year lifespan, so I would not recommend filling this one or even getting it hydro tested. I bought this used about 8 years ago for a restoration project and never got around to it, it could be a nice wall hanger on a classic gun. The regulator itself is in great shape as well. A few minor scratches on the anno is all that youll see here. Im trying to offload some old pb clutter, so not interested in trades at the moment. p.s. I had a username here by the same name before it shut down the first time, thats why I am so "new" here. I have posted this on PBN under the same username. Thanks.

    Price is $40 obo

DO you know if this is the HP or LP version? judging by the gauge it appears HP but the only way to really tell is by looking at the piston inside.

I am not sure, but here are some pics of the interior of the reg. The reg does look like its HP, but I am not sure how to tell otherwise. Hope this helps!

LP piston - the HP is much smaller in diameter.

Aren’t the pistons interchangeable though? If you can pull that brass piece out and let me know if it has one or two o-rings that would settle it. And if it has one o-ring I would buy it. Thanks.

No... not without swapping reg bodies.

The older MaxFlows, like that one, will only have single oring pistons. It's the size and spring that dictates output pressure.

I believe final generation Maxies had an interchangeable piston and depended on springing for output pressure, but that one is not that style.
