Mini Rotor Shell (Clear PETG) w/ new GXG SF - $40 shipped

Fairly clean print, used black epoxy for the feedneck though so its a bit apparent (pictured). Comes with a brand new GXG speed feed still in the package. Has been test fitted with internals and previously used for at least a game or two. Pictured without a button but one will be provided. Just need og/ltr rotor internals and you are good to go. Looking for $35 shipped via UPS within the US, payment via PayPal G&S.

edit - Clear shell + sf is SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD

Currently have one black PLA+ shell tested & ready to go for $40 shipped (no SF). One black PETG shell is currently reserved.

What is the story on these? Specs and any relevant info on them?

These are from the mini rotor thread on PbN

      https://www.pbnation.com/showthread.php?t=4516961

This particular one is printed in .22mm layer height in Overture clear PETG. I think I ended up playing only a handful of games before I eventually printed another black shell to use. As far as why I am suddenly selling & making another small batch; Unfortunately between jobs right now and could use a small side hustle.

They are ~ 60 rd mini Rotors that are fun to use. I have been using one since circa 2017/2018 as my primary hopper on my Open Class pumps. I actually just bought my second one from ChillswitchEngage in the last week. I am looking forward to having a backup/loaner since I try to play pump game at least once a month. All the advantage of a force feed hopper in a smaller package sized perfect to reload with 50 rd pods.

As an update, the black ones are coming along nicely and I hope to have both a PLA+ and PETG one ready to go for $40, shipped by end of Sunday (no speed feeds included). I wont take payment until they are ready to ship, but feel free to DM me to reserve or ask questions about them otherwise.

Edit - PETG shell is reserved, PLA+ is ready and available to ship.

        Correct, just the shells themselves.

I am happy to announce that one black PLA+ shell is ready to go. I will be upfront and say that I did not realize I do not have paint to test with them, but the internals fit and ran without issue. I am settling on $40 shipped for the loaders as well.

Also with that, I am lowering the price of the clear PETG shell with SF to $35 shipped.

For us who know nothing about 3-d printing. What's the difference in the shell materials?

PETG offers better heat resistance, flexibility, and impact strength, making it ideal for functional and outdoor parts. In contrast, PLA+ is generally harder, more rigid, and has higher tensile strength, making it suitable for display pieces and functional prints needing precision and less shock absorption. -according to AI

Grendel touched on it pretty well. Essentially, PETG will be stronger and not have to worry about potentially warping the plastic if left in a hot car. For what its worth though, I have had no issues taking hits and bumps against concrete/trees/etc with the PLA+ shell when I was using one. The ability to withstand warping from extreme heat is the main benefit IMO as far as these are concerned.

PMed on the clear shell kit.
And God turned to Gabriel and said: “I shall create a land called Canada of outstanding natural beauty, with majestic mountains soaring with eagles, sparkling lakes abundant with bass and trout, forests full of elk and moose, and rivers stocked with salmon. I shall make the land rich in oil so the inhabitants prosper and call them Canadians, and they shall be praised as the friendliest of all people.”

“But Lord,” asked Gabriel, “Is this not too generous to these Canadians?”

And God replied, “Just wait and see the neighbors I shall inflict upon them."
