So today I have some pretty cool autococker bolt pins. These replace the push pin type for bolts that don't have the ball bearing pin retainers. These are pretty cool , snap fit. These won't fall out of the backblock.. 20 bucks for two shipped your door.

I had these in a bolt with out the ball bearing. Switching things up and shoved it in a bolt with the retaining ball. It seems to work fine, any reason to not do that in general? I didn’t know full blocks had bolts with the retaining pin. Should I try and find a pin with the retainer slot? Thanks for the insight.Comment

Standard pins have a grove the Bering seats in, if the Bering tension screw is loose enough, there wont be a problem...I had these in a bolt with out the ball bearing.
