Hey folks,
As some of you may know, my wife and I do all sorts of volunteer work in Kenya. One of my newer projects is working in a village run by an organization called Nyumbani. The village is mostly self-sustaining and supports a plethora of kids and some adults that have been affected by HIV. While we have come a long way with treatment, there is still a massive stigma attached to people who are HIV+, especially in Kenya, and many children are abandoned by their families due to this stigma. Nyumbani provides food, shelter, education and some form of stability to these kids. The kids live with 'sho-shos' (grandmas) and umaus (grandpas), usually one "grandparent" to 4-8 kids. We have been involved with numerous programs with the sho-shos where we help them come up with a product to sell, a business plan, and some startup cash. In the past the umaus have never shown interest, but recently they banded together and without any input from my organization (tuko-pamoja) came up with their own business plan to sell wood wares and use the money to buy chickens and rabbits to contribute to the self-sustaining programs at the village.
I'm going to be selling a bunch of stuff in the next few weeks specifically to fund the startup for this new program.
THE GOODS
We have a clean and fully functional Piranha LB that's received the PPS treatment (HPA tuning, RVA, detent, polish & wedgits). I bought this from Sethzilla earlier this year. It's a great little chunk of brass and shoots well. With larger paint I've gotten over 280fps, but be warned that super small paint doesn't like to chrono above 250fps. A shim or a stiffer spring would most certainly address this. I have a neat little 90Β° SC adapter I will include for the buyer.
Asking $200 shipped OBO. Please remember when making offers that I am trying to fundraise for folks who could use the cash. No trades please.
I'll be having some more guns/gear up for sale in the near future to help raise more money, keep an eye out.
Any questions just give me a holler, thanks!
