Houndstooth has a new 014 Valve o-ring but I didn't touch the vasa 012 or the valve cupseal.

Ohh man, these are both gorgeous markers!!! If I didn't just pick up a fantastic Brass marker, I would snag that houndstooth! Good luck with the sales!

I like these. Confused why they only put a single wedgit in the paladin, but it’s cool for sure. Hard not to jump!

The 90's were a weird time man! The Paladin is most likely from 1998/99 and the Houndstooth from 1991/92

No clue where to even start!

Palmer did worse things, many of their closed bolt guns don’t even have wedgits like to get revenge on the poor sap who forgot to check the box.

400 is a good price for that gun. They never come up and a new one is prolly a thousand dollars.

goop it up with nail polish and play rollout free.

30 ball hopper and a 12 gram with AT is a powerful pump gun that handles like a pistol

Single wedgit = done after the barrel was installed.

Wedgits weren't "invented" until like the mid-90s, and there are a lot of PPS guns built prior to that. I've never seen a "box" to check off for wedgits on the brass builds - they're standard equipment.
And God turned to Gabriel and said: “I shall create a land called Canada of outstanding natural beauty, with majestic mountains soaring with eagles, sparkling lakes abundant with bass and trout, forests full of elk and moose, and rivers stocked with salmon. I shall make the land rich in oil so the inhabitants prosper and call them Canadians, and they shall be praised as the friendliest of all people.”

“But Lord,” asked Gabriel, “Is this not too generous to these Canadians?”

And God replied, “Just wait and see the neighbors I shall inflict upon them."

Duel wedgits can also be done post build, so the question of a single wedgit still stands! You just risk having some brass shine thru or popping the feedneck off entirely.

They aren’t standard equipment or weren’t when Palmer did production blazers and typhoons and hounds all through the late 90s early 2ks basically before the 08 crash that shut down paintball.

at that time new builds would show up without wedgits because it was in fact an option. Blazer barrels it was an add on option too.

some people surely had reasons not to get them and I was just joking that it was out of spite. I agree it should have been standard, but it wasn’t. There literally was a check box for them on the build a blazer build a hounds build a barrel features of the older Palmer site. The stock 8 or 10 inch blazer barrel did come with wedgits though.

the main one I remember on the options stuff was the performance tune didn’t come with wedgits so dudes would have full performance tuned nickel pgp’s with no wedgits it was a big RIP

Pretty sure (I’m not great with serials) the paladin was made post wedgit invention and the earlier hounds has three. Case in point right here.

it remains a super good deal either way. I’m only not buying it because I promised myself not to get cool stuff I want when I’m playing so seldom.

I used to think the paladin was a stupid configuration (why be 12g and not stock class??) now I think it’s the best, because 30 shots is enough to do a ton of work or play an entire game before reloading and the package is hyper light and you never have to think about if your tank is full or expired or whatever, just keep a bunch of good 12ies that never go bad.

Wait! What? Instructions were unclear, so I think I've been doing this backwards. I've been buying cool stuff because I play so seldom.

I’m not sure I would ever call a palmers gun hyper light 🤔

Haha got me there Johnny. With a 30 ball
Hopper and a 12 gram though, it’s super handy with a comfortable amount of heft.
