Pump return spring still functional after the barrel modifications?

There is no pump return spring on these models from back in the day being a 1 piece body/barrel

hmmm, so yours looks like a pretty early version. I had not noticed the swing trigger and the frame that closely. As you can see in my old Grey Ghost it has a return spring (unibody is turned down for the barrel and to accommodate a return spring. Mine was purchased circa 1990. I had seen earlier versions with swing triggers but they tended to be more one offs Colin made just didn't remember any that did not have a return spring.

I really do not need to add to my LAPCO collection but to have a removable barrel Ghost is definitely calling my name.

The triggerframe looks like a Carter Machine swing to me.

Colin used a few different frames early on and it could be a Carter or a NW (Nicki Wilson's copy of a Carter) for sure but definitely is an appropriate frame type for early Ghosts. It has the milled Grey Ghost and early ones lacked serial numbers. Definitely tempted.

Very early ones had the nw/Carter frames. Mine also has a boss on the barrel for a return spring.

Unrelated question, where did you get the CF material for that feed tube?

I stand corrected , apologies haven’t had it apart in ages . Barrel is stepped and to counter the loss of about 1” of barrel to threading i printed a
sleeve to make the pump handle snap back more and stay forward to keep breach closed

eBay , printed the feed gate to match the tube size.
