Dumb question: what exactly is the PVN mod? Is it so good that you really wouldn't want an MVP without it?

The PVN mod is a heavier hammer and new spring. Bob Long makes an updated sear to fix the auto-triggering issue that snowridr is alluding to, you can do that one independently without PVN. I have an MVP without the PVN mods but with a new sear and it is perfectly fine. I don’t really notice what my markers sound like in the middle of games, I only notice that when I’m tinkering in the backyard.

Generally speaking, yes you really wouldn't want an MVP without it. I owned two, the first not being modded and it wasn't enjoyable to use. Autotrigger issues, inconsistent shot and terrible efficiency. Second being modded fixed all those issues. I have heard people who had the updated sear from Bob Long still had issues and I don't think that is an option anymore with Field One dropping all legacy support.

I bought one new and despised the thing I thought then it was expensive hot garbage practically gave the thing away. Then I shot one with a PVN mod and now have owned a few, and currently own one. I would not even consider one that hasn’t been modified. Modified it’s like if you took a high end spool valve marker made it a pump and gave it a CCM pump stroke.

I like the Blue. I’m surprised this hasn’t sold yet they don’t come up often especially with the fixes already. Maybe shoot a video so People can see it’s been modified because that’s a big selling point. It looks clean to.
