I'm also curious. From what I remember, the pump stroke just prevents the trigger from cycling between pumps but I don't have any references saved.

tyronejk That might be it, especially with where the pump arm is located. That would also explain the super short pump stroke

They're basically a "broken" mech Ion - they fire from an open bolt, you cycle the pump to reset the 3way switch that cycles the bolt. They're pretty slick, very good for avoiding rollouts and perfect for introducing someone to pump.
