On a scale of 1-10 how bad of an idea is this for a first pump gun? Because holly hell I want this, and I want a pump

Can't really give you an answer. This was a project and I haven't really gotten it dialed in and I haven't played with it. The mag runs like a champ but pump action needed work. If you like mags this might be right up your alley

It's a race horse with three legs cut off. One leg is disabling the semi, second leg is removing the hopper, third leg is limiting the air supply.
That said, it's still has some advantages. The ball detent is in the barrel so fewer roll outs, and I don't know for the Rain Man kit, but the AGD pump is by far the lightest and fastest I've ever experienced. So it's great for a first pump, it's kinda starting at the top with it being pretty rare.
