CCI Phantom, cocker threaded, modified for tournament

CCI Phantom (Cocker-threaded) for sale, 345$ or 300€
Original owner, always cleaned and oiled.
    Acid-wash blue anodized.
Competition-grade tuning by "Chamy" (Toulouse): threaded for Cocker-style barrels, pump handle bored out to slide over a Dye UL barrel, and chamber enlarged for lower-pressure operation (custom spring installed).
Features an Eclipse quick on/off, CP regulator, pressure gauge on the rear, lever-style feedneck, and I include the original black grip.
The original 14" Phantom barrel is included but it no longer fits this specific marker due to the Cocker threading.
The 16" Dye UL .684 barrel is included, it is in excellent condition.
The feedneck has a bit of play.
A very lightweight, efficient and simple marker. Made for pump tournaments.
Located in France, shipping and customs not included. Shipping worldwide possible

So that open class body is modified for Cocker thread? Looks like the original CCI ANO. Can you post a picture of the breach threads?

Im curious how it’s got to be super thin at that point. The round head bodies flair out at the end to do it. It’s definitely not a roundhead that was ano matched, Because it tapers. I bet the front grip frame screw needs to be shorter as well.

Ano is the original. It's just threaded at the tip, original threads are lathed down to allocate space for cocker barrel shank, a bit of the body is lathed so that paintball is chambered into the barrel, as any closed bolt gun would. The barrel sits just barely ahead of the body. It's sturdy. I've seen more than 5 of these phantoms modified by the same guy, some dating more than 15 years in those days, used for tournament (diving and such), those never broke.

Yeah that’s wicked cool! Looks like it’s got a good amount of material left on it to.

        Impressive. Most impressive.

Would it be possible to convert the original barrel to cocker threads? If so, for that perfect look leave the blank part just a tad bit shorter, making the original barrel fit flush with the body.

You would have to press on a sleeve to make the od of the phantom barrel compatible with being machined to cocker barrel dimensions. Doable

I wonder if DocsMachine or flyweightnate could just whip up a short adapter that could bridge the gap?

That's a lot of trouble to make a gun compatible with the barrel it had before being cocker threaded lol.

Maybe this should all be moved to another thread?

          Someone buy this mans gun!
      Working...
