Kamikaze Shooter w/original slam change - Appraisal please

Good day MCB. I've had some interest from someone somewhat local in buying my duck. Since the history here went away (and I can't remember my original user/pass/email combo), I'm putting feelers out to get some kind of valuation on this. The only thing that I can see that is even remotely recent is the listing on Bacci for Renick's.

    Story of this one:
I purchased it locally from someone I have known forever, and have no reason to disbelieve the story. I was told this was Ken Kidds and there was a big ass deal made (by others) about not selling it because of the slam change. I'm assuming this was circa 91-92? I met the guy in 93-94 and he owned the duck from that time until I purchased it.

It has seen use, but hasn't been abused. It's in its original condition and hasn't been messed with. The only thing that may be considered not original is that I don't have the stick feed, nor have ever seen it. I'm not even sure if it was purchased with one back in the day.

    Thoughts?

Not sure if prices have cooled on these, they don't come up too often but I would say 2.5K minimum for a Kamikaze duck with a Slam changer. My Kamikaze was a little over that and doesn't have the slam changer but that was almost a decade ago now I guess haha.

The last Duck to sell here went for 2K, wasn't a Kamikaze, and didn't have the slam changer.

I agree with fullofpaint, the last few ducks (including when I got mine) were around $2k, but I can't recall the last time I saw a slam changer for sale. $3k for the rarity would not be out of the question.

I concur with fullofpaint and Lt. head-shot, including the caveat that they come up so infrequently that it's hard to gauge when the market shifts

                  I'll second this.
