AM Action Markers Diadem

Up on the block is an Action Markers Diadem- Held air when I got it, but has been sitting for years. Airs up and fires, but there's a leak coming from what seems to be the grip frame or the body (don't have much air, can't check further). Board works, eyes work. Overall pretty good condition, but there are some nicks and scratches on it.

Ive held a z frame automag and quite like it as well as understood its purpose. These humpback frames just look completely uncomfortable for anyones hands?

Ya think? I kind of dig the exaggerated humpback. I never shoot electro, but part of me wants this so I can have owned all the AM guns at some point 🤔

The grip is more comfortable than you might think so long as your hands are not . . . meaty. For me, the hump fits nicely into my palm and the area between my thumb and forefinger nestles into the cove between the top of the grip and the snatch grip thingy. I could see an uncomfortably tight fit if the webbing between a person's thumb and forefinger was very built-up.

I played in the Diadem Crown 3-man, in 2004. We all signed up, played in Detroit. (getting going was a shitshow...) but the games were fun! Playing with a Diadem wanted me to buy one, so finding this in my adult years fires up that want again. Concerning that grip, it's surprisingly comfortable!

Tim Hickok and I (Mike Nuffesse) teched that game for Action Markers. Very fun times. We showed up to watch but they needed a lot of help getting things under way so we just jumped in. They were some of the nicest people in the sport.

Oh jeez, time to necro this comment LOL! What I meant by shitshow, I was referring to the amount of union involvement and how lone it was taking them to get the field up and running. Everything else was awesome!
