            I thought all OG Carters used glue to hold the grip panels and NW Comps had screws on the panels.

            Do you have official documentation that’s a Carter Comp?

                  Total aside, one of my upcoming projects is a modern recreation of that California-air Carter. That, I thought, was the most... I guess elegant gun I saw in the magazines when I started playing, but as a poor broke kid- in Alaska- I never even saw one in person, let alone was able to afford to buy one.

                  And even today, it's probably going to be easier for me to make one, than buy one.

                  It's interesting to see that the OP's Carter doesn't even have bottomline screw holes....
