Not really selling I guess right now. I guess the prices have dropped before or just going to hang on to it for a few more years and hopefully the value will increase.I will be pricing these later on. I'm trying to find out from someone that's more of an expert than me.

Bill would convert these from BB gun revolvers, typically the Umarex single action army, but there are a few Scholfields and others too. Really fun to mess around with, uses.43 cal paint, which you could order in bulk from Nelson (RIP). He bored out the cylinders, installed a new barrel, and would use real shell casings. They make for a hell of a conversation piece. I sold mine a while back.

How the hell do the valves work in these?

They are a poppet that the hammer actually strikes, only the poppet is down in the body and struck with a hidden part on the hammer. Air then flows through a channel in the body to the round being fired. So the hammer is actually functional (the Colt Peacemaker is SAO, others may be different), but the upper part which would be used to strike a primer is just for show/cocking.

I picked one of these up for cheap a year or so ago because it was leaking and had cosmetic problems. I referbed it and got it going. It's really more of a novelty, as velocity is pretty low, and .40/.43 cal paint doesn't break as easy. We did play Russian Roulette with it though (only we shot at our feet).

I have the "ace in the hole" version that was the snub barrel CSAA like I. Expendables. Early model .40 cal. And to be honest I carried it often when running my Ccm ssr just for close range in building play when welding a bolt action first strike gun made no sense.

It was quite a fun piece.
