i! Forgive me as I just joined the forum and am still trying to figure out how to use it, but I saw your posts on the Nelspot. The reason I’m messaging you is because I have my own 007, that I found amongst my grandpas stuff after he passed and I would really like to get it running again but I’m running into some issues after I cleaned it and tried to reassemble it. I noticed when I first picked it up that it wasn’t cocking when I run the pump handle. It was really dirty and nasty so I figured I’d be able to figure out why. After gutting the whole thing and cleaning it I’m still having the same issue. There seems to be some over travel and the sear isn’t able to grab the hammer. Do you have any idea of why this could be? I took a video of it but I’m not sure if I can send videos on here. Thanks for any help you might have.

You may need to have air in order to cock it. The rear valve spring may be giving a little and does not allow hammer to latch on to bolt preventing it from cocking. Once you have air pressure the bolt should be able to latch to hammer.
