    Brass Eagle Rainmaker

Selling my Rainmaker. I bought it back in November and never fielded it. Board works and airs up with no leaks. Shot it once in November and it’s sat on my wall since. Bought it from a museum which was selling off

    SOLD SOLD SOLD
Would trade for a nice mag/minimag

Yeah this should sell quick. 300 shipped is a great price for a SF Rainmaker .

Only interested in full markers? I have an XValve laying around… not 100% I’d make the trade but figured I’d see if you’d consider it before I beat myself up over it. ;p

Great fun to tinker on. Very easy to convert to pump, or pneu-trigger.

Serial #100, but thats the second run. If I remember the story correctly, after the initial run of the first gen rainmakers (long shroud), they restarted the serials at #1 for the second run (short shroud, single trigger).

I spent a lot of time getting this gun to work, I'm glad to hear it still does. Wasn't able to get rid of that stupid trigger stop though.

Tape with the modes was not me, my handwriting isn't that nice. But I don't remember that being on there.

Yea the trigger stops a little weird. Could probably grind it down a bit.

how do you get the hammer to drop on a pump?
THe rainmaker, internally, is just a Sterling action. The sear is tripped mechanically by a fixed pin. You convert to pump, you mostly just need to remove that pin. Then to trip the sear, you either need to epoxy an extension onto the existing trigger, or adapt a grip-frame from another gun or tripping sears. The main issue is that since it uses a sterling action, instead of a nelson / crosman / sheridan, the hammer sits forward of the valve, so it can take a little fiddling to line everything up.

For the pump, the rainmaker has the ram-rod threaded into the carrier. Basically, you just thread another rod, into whatever pump you want.

In the end, you end up with a pump with a full autotrigger... pretty easy
