    PPS Stroker P176

Recently got this in a trade and it's not for me.

Barrel appears to be 10", plus the extension. It is unported and does not have widgets. Has a UMB with integrated (no removable) ASA and PMI grips.

It is, however, in less-than-stellar shape:

As you can see, the plating is pitting a fair bit on the barrel, and there are small marks and dings throughout. Addtionally, it does leak. I cannot tell from where. I do not have the time, patience, or facilities to test/rebuild. It does cycle though.

Price: $275 shipped, OBO SOLD. International shipping available at extra cost. I could be persuaded to trade for an emek or similar.

Oh man - these are fun. How bad is the leak? Drain a 13 / 3000 tank in a game bad or a slow leak?

Pretty bad. Definitely in the "not usable" category of leaks. If the o-ring on the gas line into the backbottle adapter was any indicator of what the internal seals are like, it'll need a pretty thorough rebuild. That o-ring crumbled to pieces the second I unscrewed the line.

Kinda nice that it looks as if they don't have that front cap roll pinned like most of the strokers I've seen. I assume that cap also has a center tapped screw in it for lpr adjustment?

I've gotta resist it myself. I have a nice stroker I haven't fielded yet myself.

          glws sir!

The end cap screws in and out to adjust the LPR. That's how PPS originally did it until they came up with the pinned endcaps.
